NOCScribe Pro

NOCScribe Pro is purpose-built reporting software for vocational evaluators, rehabilitation consultants, and career counsellors working with Canada's National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021. It replaces the tedious manual work of looking up occupational profiles and writing up duties, requirements, and classification details with a fast, searchable interface that generates professionally formatted Word reports and AI-ready XML exports in seconds — letting you include exactly the information you need, formatted exactly how you want it.

516 occupations at your fingertips. The complete NOC 2021 Version 1.0 dataset from Employment and Social Development Canada is bundled into the software — every occupation across all ten broad occupational categories, from legislators and senior managers right through to workers in manufacturing and utilities. No navigating the profile pages one at a time, no copy-paste. Type any part of a job title, NOC code, or example job title to instantly filter the list, check the occupations you want, and move on. For power users, a paste box accepts comma-separated NOC codes so you can load a known set in seconds.

Filter the list the way you think about it. Two additional dropdowns narrow the occupation list by TEER category (0 through 5) or by broad occupational category (Business and finance, Health, Trades and transport, etc.), stacking with the search box so you can drill down to "TEER 2 occupations in the sales and service category" with three clicks.

Every NOC profile section in one report. Include the Description, Example job titles, Main duties, Employment requirements, Additional information, Exclusions, Index of titles, and a Breakdown summary table showing the full classification hierarchy — Broad occupational category, TEER, Major group, Sub-major group, and Minor group — exactly as it appears on the official website. Toggle any section on or off per report and reorder them to match your preferred document layout.

Per-section configuration where it matters. Choose whether to include the "Inclusions" sub-list that appears in some occupation profiles (e.g. Financial managers), strip or keep the parenthetical NOC code cross-references inside Exclusions bullets, and pick which hierarchy levels appear in the Breakdown summary table.

Full typography control. Set the size of the occupation title and each level of section heading independently. Adjust the space above and below headings to your preference. Toggle trailing colons on section headings (Description: vs Description) to match the style guide you work from. A "Reset typography to defaults" button puts everything back if you wander too far.

Four professional table styles. Pick the look that matches your report — Basic (clean black borders and gray headers), Modern (blue accent, subtle zebra striping), Elegant (minimalist with bold accent rules), or Bold (strong high-contrast header bands). Choose any font installed on your system and size from 7 to 24 point.

Multiple output formats from one click. Check any combination: one Word document per occupation, one combined document with all selected occupations together, individual XML files, or a combined XML file. Need all four at once? Check all four. The combined Word option can also include an automatically-generated Table of Contents for long reports.

XML export for AI workflows. Every Word report can also be generated as a structured XML file, with the same filters applied. Feed the XML to any AI chatbot and get instant analysis, occupation comparisons, or client-ready summaries based on exactly the data you've curated — without having to trust the AI's own knowledge of NOC 2021.

Save your configurations as profiles. Different cases need different material. Save any combination of font, typography, table style, selected sections, section order, and per-section filters as a named profile and switch between them with one click.

Professional Word output. Generated documents include proper table formatting, prevented row breaks across pages, headings that stay attached to the content that follows them, clean section spacing that never leaves an orphan heading at the bottom of a page, and an optional Table of Contents for combined reports. Everything is designed to drop straight into a professional assessment report with no cleanup.

Your data stays on your computer. NOCScribe Pro runs entirely on your machine. There's no cloud service and no AI processing. The NOC 2021 data is bundled into the software itself.

You stay in control. NOCScribe Pro doesn't make professional opinions or decisions about which occupations suit your clients. It just handles the mechanical work of pulling the right data from the database and formatting it into report-ready documents. You decide which occupations to include, which sections matter for your case, and how the final document fits into your assessment.
