OasisScribe Pro

OasisScribe Pro is purpose-built reporting software for vocational evaluators working with the NOC/OaSIS occupational database. It replaces the tedious manual work of looking up occupation data and writing up tables with a fast, searchable interface that generates professionally formatted Word reports and AI-ready XML exports in seconds — letting you include exactly the information you need, formatted exactly how you want it.

900+ occupations at your fingertips. The entire OaSIS occupational database is bundled into the software. No looking up data from the OaSIS website, no copy-paste. Type any part of a job title or OaSIS code to instantly filter the list, check the occupations you want, and move on. For power users, a paste box accepts comma-separated OaSIS codes so you can load a known set in seconds.

Include exactly the sections you need. Every report includes the four core sections — Abilities, Skills, Personal Attributes, and Knowledge — but you can also add Work Activities, Structural Job Characteristics, Physical Work Environment, Physical Demands, Interpersonal Relations, and occupation metadata like Description and Interests Profile. Reorder sections however you want them to appear in the final document.

Filter to the level of detail you want. Every section has its own level picker. For the core sections, include only the highest levels and drop the lower ones — or any combination in between. For Work Characteristics, filter by numeric rating (0–5) with example descriptions from every rating scale shown inline, so you can confidently include only the items rated "High" or "Highest" across Frequency, Duration, Importance, and all the other scales the database uses.

Four professional table styles. Pick the look that matches your report — Basic (clean black borders and gray headers), Modern (blue accent, subtle zebra striping), Elegant (minimalist with bold accent rules), or Bold (strong high-contrast header bands). Choose any font installed on your system and size from 7 to 24 point.

Multiple output formats from one click. Check any combination: one Word document per occupation, one combined document with all selected occupations together, a side-by-side comparison of two occupations, individual XML files, or a combined XML file. Need all five at once? Check all five. The combined Word option can also include an automatically-generated Table of Contents for long reports.

Side-by-side comparison reports. Select exactly two occupations and generate a comparison document where every section becomes a three-column table — one column per occupation — so you can see at a glance where two roles differ on specific abilities, skills, or physical demands. Filter settings apply equally to both sides for a clean comparison.

XML export for AI workflows. Every Word report can also be generated as structured XML file, with the same filters applied. Feed the XML to any AI chatbot and get instant analysis, comparisons, or summaries based on exactly the data you've curated — without having to trust the AI's own knowledge of the occupational database.

Save your configurations as profiles. Different cases need different material. Save any combination of font, style, selected sections, section order, level filters, and item filters as a named profile.

Professional Word output. Generated documents include proper table formatting, prevented row breaks across pages, automatically repeating header rows on multi-page tables, clean punctuation, and an optional Table of Contents for combined reports. Everything is designed to drop straight into a professional assessment report with no cleanup.

Your data stays on your computer. OasisScribe Pro runs entirely on your machine. There's no cloud service and no AI processing. The occupational data is bundled into the software itself.

You stay in control. OasisScribe Pro doesn't make professional opinions or decisions about which occupations suit your clients. It just handles the mechanical work of pulling the right data from the database and formatting it into report-ready tables. You decide which occupations to include, which sections matter for your case, and how the final document fits into your assessment.
