A document review interface built for speed. Load all your PDFs at once — no limit on number or size. Scroll through them quickly, and when you find a page that belongs to a document you want summarized, press the spacebar to tag it. Number and letter keys let you assign pages to different document categories on the fly, so you're sorting and tagging in a single pass without ever touching the mouse. You're still reviewing the entire file — just at a dramatically faster pace.

Vision AI summarization. This is what makes CondenScribe genuinely different. The AI doesn't just extract text — it sees each page as an image, the way you would. It reads tables, handwritten annotations, checkboxes, multi-column layouts, and even poor-quality scans, faxed copies, and tilted pages that would stump standard OCR software. It also automatically extracts the document title, author, and date from each page, so you don't have to type any of that manually.

Built-in OCR scanning. Run a full-text OCR scan across every loaded PDF to enable powerful features: instant full-text search across your entire file, automatic duplicate detection, and direct quote verification. You can also export the OCR text for upload to AI chatbots — useful for getting a high-level overview of document sets too large to upload as PDFs.

Automatic duplicate detection. Medical and legal files often contain the same document multiple times. CondenScribe automatically identifies pages that are identical or near-identical across all your files, with an adjustable similarity threshold to catch duplicates that look slightly different due to scanning variations. You can preview side-by-side comparisons and decide for yourself what to skip.

Precise redaction control. Toggle on Redact Mode and draw black boxes directly on the page to exclude any section from the summary. Only the parts you want summarized ever get sent to the AI — so if you only want one section of a multi-section page, you can redact the rest.

Direct quote verification. Every direct quote in your generated summaries is automatically cross-checked against the OCR text from the source documents. Exact matches, fuzzy matches, and unverified quotes are color-coded so you can quickly spot anything that needs review — and corrections you make are written back into the summary automatically.

Full control over how the AI writes. Set the summary length, choose a focus area (Physical, Vocational, Psychological, Cognitive, or General), and pick a quote style ranging from all-paraphrase to quote-heavy. Customize the writing level, tone, format, and citation style for footnotes. You can also preview and edit the exact prompt sent to the AI before processing.

Professional Word export. Generate a fully formatted Word document with whatever structure you need — cover page, table of contents, year headers, document headings, footnotes, sorted chronologically or grouped by category. Save your export settings as a profile and reuse them on every project.

Save your entire project. Loaded PDFs, tagged pages, OCR text, summaries, and all your settings save into a single project file. Close the program and pick up exactly where you left off the next day.

Your privacy is protected. CondenScribe AI Pro is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. Your data goes directly from your computer to Anthropic's servers and back — no middleman, and no client data is ever sent to AssessForge AI Technologies. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models, and it is automatically deleted within 30 days. For organizations requiring HIPAA compliance, Anthropic offers Business Associate Agreements for their API.
