No. Each licence is a single payment for one month or one year. When it's about to end, the program reminds you, and you can buy another term whenever you're ready.

What else will I pay for?
The AI features run on your own Claude API account, and Anthropic bills you directly for what you use. OccuScribe's reference reports, comparisons and matching work without AI. See setting up your AI key.
Is this suitable for health information?
Client content goes straight from your computer to your own Claude API account, never to us. You can turn on HIPAA compliance in that account yourself, which puts Anthropic's Business Associate Agreement in place. See how to set it up. Do I need to be online?
The programs check your licence when they start. If you're offline, they keep working for up to 7 days after the last successful check. The AI features need an internet connection to reach your provider.
